Ski Coach Collective
Safety & Risk Management Plan
The Safety and Risk Management Plan focuses on protecting the health and safety of both participants and coaches/contractors.
Participants
All participants must sign a waiver before making payment for camps or programs. Coaching staff are familiar with each ski resort, including patrol contact numbers and accident protocols.

Every resort has a professional Ski Patrol team that provides first responder care, and all resort areas are in close proximity to medical facilities.
In the event of an accident, coaches/contractors will immediately contact Ski Patrol, who will take primary responsibility for on-site care, evacuation, and transport to the local hospital.

The participant’s family will be notified, and Ski Coach Collective will provide support until family members are able to arrive.
Coaches &
Contracted
Staff
Each contracted coach must carry personal travel, medical, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
All coaches and contractors are required to provide emergency contact information.
In the event of an accident, the local professional Ski Patrol will be contacted immediately to take responsibility for the injured individual.
Insurance providers will be notified and consulted regarding care arrangements.
The injured person’s family will be contacted, and Ski Coach Collective will provide support until family members are able to arrive.
